Flavorpill is looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven project manager to join and manage the team which is building the new flavorpill.com social event platform. This person will report to the product chief and will lead a lean/agile-based development process. The right candidate is highly organized and has experience managing web-based software development projects involving deliverables from both in-house teams and external freelancers. An ability to work with both creatives and developers is necessary; a solid understanding of programming principles is a big plus. This is a full-time position based out of our office in Soho, NYC. Main Responsibilities

  • Manage an agile development process
  • Oversee the product life cycle 
  • Identify resources required and assign individual responsibilities
  • Help break work into tasks and write user stories based on project specifications
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Set and hit deadlines for shipping clean code
  • Create project work plans and revise as necessary based on evolving requirements
  • Oversee the work from freelance teams working off-site
  • Lead team stand-up meetings
  • Review and QA all deliverables before accepting
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and accessible
  • Help measure, and report on user tracking
